Mission

The Utilities Services Branch protects public health and safety by providing responsible stewardship of limited natural resources and by supporting a high quality of life for Oxnard’s residents, business, and visitors. In addition, the Branch’s activities sustain the community’s economic viability through proactive infrastructure planning and creative reuse conservation practices.

The Utilities Services Branch is responsible for providing drinking water to residential and commercial customers as well as for the collection and disposition of storm water, wastewater, and solid waste. In addition, it is responsible for regulatory compliance and conservation.
