Del Norte Regional Recycling & Transfer Station

Del Norte Regional Recycling & Transfer Station Transition Plan

The Del Norte Regional Recycling & Transfer Station, also known as the Materials Recovery Facility or “MRF”, serves as the central hub of the City’s overall solid waste management system and as a regional resource.

On February 1, 2014, the City of Oxnard transitioned the management, operation and maintenance of the City-owned Del Norte Regional Recycling and Transfer Station from a private company to the City.

Operational enhancements are making a significant impact on the amount of materials being diverted from the landfill. Ongoing Del Norte facility updates will be presented at City Council Meetings and will be available online.
